Title: New Report: Language Assimilation Today
Body:

Recent data suggests that bilingualism is less prevalent than commonly thought, according to a new report by the Mumford Center. "Language Assimilation Today: Bilingualism Persists More Than in the Past, But English Still Dominates" analyzes 2000 Census data to break down native language use by generation and language group. A higher rate of retention of native language is reported in Hispanic populations than in Asian ones, although all show a decline in use over time.
