SUMMER SEMINAR IN MEXICO FOR SPANISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS
2005 PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT

Oregon International Council (OIC)'s 2005 Summer Seminar will take place
from July 1 to July 30 in Puebla, Mexico, at the English/Espanol Training
Center (ETC), a private educational institution which has hosted OIC's
Summer Seminar for Spanish Teachers annually since 1995. Puebla is a city
of some 4 million people, two hours from Mexico City, combining the
moderate climate of Mexico's central highlands with clean air, magnificent
scenery, and many examples of pre-Colombian, Hispanic, and Modern
Mexican culture, lying apart from the usual tourist routes. The program
includes numerous field trips in and near the city, as well as a three-day tour
of Mexico City.
