Title: Online Goose Board Game in English, Spanish, and French
Body: From http://www.analomba.com The Goose Game is a traditional game played in Spain, France, and other parts of Europe. This version of The Goose Game reinforces vocabulary used in the Ugly Duckling e-storybook, that will be available soon. For additional variation, you can create several table games and ask your students to play in groups of four. Another possibility is to create large floor pads and use your students as the figures (they could wear masks or costumes). Learn more about the game at http://www.analomba.com/polGames.cfm?doc_id=7 Play the game at http://www.analomba.com/Game/GooseGame.swf Explore other resources at this website at http://www.analomba.com/index.cfm

Title: Resources for Language Teachers at TES Connect
Body: From http://www.tes.co.uk/article.aspx?storyCode=6000208&navCode=285 TES Connect is a social network that allows teachers (primarily in the UK) to network, share resources and search for jobs. The Resources section has language-specific resources for the following languages: German: http://www.tes.co.uk/section.aspx?navcode=401 Spanish: http://www.tes.co.uk/section.aspx?navcode=428 Chinese: http://www.tes.co.uk/section.aspx?navcode=389 Italian: http://www.tes.co.uk/section.aspx?navcode=409 French: http://www.tes.co.uk/section.aspx?navcode=398 Welsh: http://www.tes.co.uk/section.aspx?navcode=431 Here is a recently posted activity that can be used to improve students’ sensitivity to accuracy in any language: Sentence Auction: Give the students the worksheet and tell them their task is to buy as many correct sentences as possible. They have 15 minutes to decide what sentences are correct and how much their max. bid for each sentence is. Then the teacher conducts the auction in the TL and makes a note of which team has bought which sentence. Then show the ppt to tell the kids which sentences are correct. The winner is the team with the most correct sentences at the end. View a full description at http://www.tes.co.uk/article.aspx?storyCode=6015506&s_cid=16 .
