Title: A Different Take on Culture
Body: I generally don't spend much time on holidays at all, but when I do, I focus on cultural practices and historical significance. A good source of current authentic material on practices in France is the TF1 online news. http://hautdebit.tf1.fr/hautdebit/newsjt There tends to be more of the sort of cultural news in the 13h (midday news). I find that these reports, though obviously superficial, tend to be interesting and often show me something that I haven't seen.
