Title: Global Competence Professional Learning Modules for Kentucky Educators
Body:

From http://www.kentuckyteacher.org/subjects/global-competency-world-languages/2017/03/global-competence-professional-learning-modules-released/

Kentucky educators now have access to nine free Global Competence Modules that are self-directed and can be completed anywhere there is an internet connection.

Written and created by Stacy Shipman and Karen Loper in coordination with the Kentucky Department of Education, the eight modules and final review module help educators understand the concept of global education and how those ideas can translate into global lesson for all students in all content areas.

Each module is in a PowerPoint format with narration. Hyperlinks within the modules deepen learning when participants explore the referenced resources. Reflection questions are included in each module and post-module reflections help learners synthesize the information. An additional resource guide contains all referenced resources and suggested citations.

Educators can complete the modules individually or in professional learning community teams or groups. Each module takes 15-20 minutes, or longer when fully exploring the linked resources and engaging in the learning through active reflection.

Access the learning modules at http://www.kentuckyteacher.org/subjects/global-competency-world-languages/2017/03/global-competence-professional-learning-modules-released/
