Title: March Music Madness
Body:

The NCAA men’s basketball tournament begins March 15, and the women’s basketball tournament begins March 18. Many people will be filling out brackets in which the winner of a game advances to the next round. Meanwhile, in the language teaching world, teachers are setting up brackets with popular songs in the target language. Students will vote on their favorite from a given pair on each day. You can see the original idea described here: https://aventurasnuevas.wordpress.com/2015/03/17/mania-musical-de-marzo-march-musical-madness/.

View two Spanish teachers’ choices from this year’s brackets here: http://misclaseslocas.blogspot.com/2016/02/march-musica-miercoles-madness.html and https://spanishplans.org/2016/02/23/marzodemusica-2016/.
View a French teacher’s picks here: https://mmefarab.wordpress.com/2016/02/23/la-manie-musicale-de-mars/

May the “best” song win!
