Title: Website: German Easter traditions with links to other holidays
Body: Quoted From: http://german.about.com/library/blbraeuche_ostern.htm Easter in German Europe The Germanic celebration of Easter (Ostern in German) is very much like that in most of the Christian world. It features the same fertility and spring-related icons—eggs, bunnies, flowers—and many of the same Easter customs. The three major German-speaking countries (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) are predominantly Christian and Easter is an important time for both Catholics and Protestants in the German-speaking lands. The art of decorating hollowed-out eggs (ausgeblasene Eier) for Easter is an Austrian and German tradition. Also of interest, perhaps is the Osterlexikon at: http://german.about.com/library/blostervoc.htm

Title: Materials: Crossroads Cafe for ESL classes
Body: For more information about Crossroads Cafe, see: http://www.pbs.org/als/crossroads/ One of the best materials I've seen for multi-level ESL classes is Crossroads Cafe. This is a 20 episode video series that came out in the mid to late 90s about a cafe and its regulars and employees, created for the ESL immigrant market. It is very well made - pretty much TV production quality, has humor, serious issues, and deals with common daily life problems of immigrants, single mothers, engaged couples, friends, 1st generation Americans and others. The books are formatted for multiple levels. Each exercise is starred, 1 star is easy, 2 stars are harder, etc. The whole class can watch the video and each level will get something different out of it. Everyone can work from the same book, on the same theme, on different levels. The program is for high-beginners to high intermediate. It really united my multi-level class and made whole class projects much easier to think up. Spelleri, M. Re: mutli-level class (was large classes). Title: Website Review: Tout sur Moliere
Body: www.toutmoliere.net "(...) Guillard, A. (2004). Tout sur Molière. Le Monde.fr Livres. http://www.lemonde.fr/web/article/0,1-0@2-3260,36-361140,0.html (16 Apr. 2004)

Title: Drama: Moliere than Thou, by Timothy Mooney
Body: I wanted to put out the word about a tremendous performance done by the actor Timothy Mooney. Some of you may have seen him at the AATF conference in Martinique. I was able to put together a grant and have him come to my community and school. He gave a two-hour workshop for the drama and French students during the day and an 85 minute performance during the evening for the community. He has boundless energy and really makes the characters from many of Moliere's plays come alive. He draws from 15 of Moliere's plays and interweaves various characters by changing wigs, hats, vests and neck attire. What a postive contribution to our school district and our community!
