Title: SpellingCity: Online Spelling Program for English
Body: From http://quickshout.blogspot.com/2009/07/create-spelling-games-and-tests.html Spelling City looks misleadingly simple but is really a fantastic site for creating or getting students creating their own interactive multimedia word tests, games and practice activities. Students simply type in the words that they want to revise and then decide which of the three modes they want to use: Test, Teach, or Play. Read a full description of the website and potential uses for English language learners at http://quickshout.blogspot.com/2009/07/create-spelling-games-and-tests.html Spelling City is available at http://www.spellingcity.com

Title: Three Percent: International Literature Resource
Body: From http://www.rochester.edu/College/translation/threepercent/index.php?s=about Unfortunately, only about 3% of all books published in the United States are works in translation. While that figure obviously represents more books than any one person could read in a year, it’s hardly an impressive number. The idealistic hope of Three Percent is to help change that—at least a little bit. By bringing readers information about goings-on in the world of international literature, and by providing reviews and samples of books in translation and those that have yet to be translated, they hope to serve as a resource for readers, students, translators, and editors interested in international literature. Visit the Three Percent website and read the latest reviews at http://www.rochester.edu/College/translation/threepercent/index.php?s=about
