Body: From http://bcpublishers.blogspot.com The Pompeiiana Newsletter was created and edited by Bernard Barcio and ran from 1974 through 2003. Pompeiiana offered a place for Latin students to publish comics, stories, games, and articles, and was a beloved resource for Latin teachers. Title: ReelFrench: French Videos for Learning
Body: From http://www.reelfrench.com ReelFrench.com is a joint venture between UK-based Linguascope and the Canadian company Tralco. Immersive, engaging target language videos are presented in a user-friendly interface which allows students to watch at their own pace (with optional subtitles and downloadable transcripts), while completing language-building activities in the same window. The highly interactive activities cover a broad range of grammatical and vocabulary skills, from word-matching to more involved gap-fill passages and multiple choice quizzes. Teacher and student can check progress as work is completed throughout the unit, as each module is handily ticked off as it is finished successfully. On completion of the video’s related activities, the student has the opportunity to print off a certificate with the “final mark.” ReelFrench.com is currently available for free access - simply select the Topics link in the menu and choose a module to work on!
