Pompeiiana offered a place for Latin students to publish comics, stories, games, and articles, and was a beloved resource for Latin teachers. In 2008, Barcio granted Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers the rights for all of Pompeiiana. Immersive, engaging target language videos are presented in a user-friendly interface which allows students to watch at their own pace (with optional subtitles and downloadable transcripts), while completing language-building activities in the same window. The highly interactive activities cover a broad range of grammatical and vocabulary skills, from word-matching to more involved gap-fill passages and multiple choice quizzes.
