Public and private non-profit organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c)(3) may submit proposals to implement six- to eight-week summer institutes in China or in an Arabic-speaking country that offer U.S. high school students formal and informal language instruction through a comprehensive exchange experience. Title: Native Speakers Needed for Familiarization Courses
Body: I am the Human Resource Specialist for the Foreign Language Training Center on Fort Lewis in Washington State. We are looking for native/fluent speakers in the languages listed below to develop familiarization courses. Most of these projects can be done from their home. The developed course is a transliteration to help introduce the soldier to not only the language but geography, daily activities, customs and cultural traditions. It includes an audio voicing project as well to produce a CD that complements the lessons. The potential candidates do not have to have any teaching experience. We will provide training. Projects are created for conversational orientation in listening and speaking. In addition, the part time opportunity can be done from home or on Fort Lewis depending on the needs of the Army. The pay is at $29.50 per hour and each project is worth a set amount of hours.
