Body: The Center for Applied Linguistics conducts the National K-12 Foreign Language Survey, a survey of foreign language instruction in public and private elementary and secondary schools in the US. CAL now has some PRELIMINARY results of the elementary school survey, including comparisons with 1987 and 1997.
