Body: UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD BOARD OF THE FACULTY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES Instructorships in Japanese Applications are invited for three Instructorships in Japanese, tenable from 1 October 2003. These are permanent posts (subject to a satisfactory review after the third year), stipend on the Instructor Salary scale A12 18,265-21,125 per annum. Instructors will give up to 20 hours of instruction in all aspects of Japanese including translation into English and giving explanation of grammar in English in each week of the University full term. Applicants should have a native command or equivalent of Japanese, good command of English, and experience of teaching Japanese as a foreign language. The instructor will join a team comprising three language instructors in all and four university lecturers in Japanese in the Faculty of Oriental Studies, together with the teaching staff at the Nissan Institute of Modern Japanese Studies. Body: TEACH IN MEXICO Full-time Paid Teaching Position - August 3, 2003, through end of June 2, 2004 One paid, full-time teaching position is available for next school year beginning August 3, 2003. The assignment is for 3rd and 4th grades. But, there is a slight possibility of it being for 1st grade,( will need experience teaching reading and writing. This could be two jobs with someone for 3rd and 4th and someone willing to come for August 4th through September, October, and the month of November. Documents Needed The teacher(s) would have to bring: 1. diploma(s), these diplomas also need to be "translated" over there, this is called an apostille and is done by the Secretary of your State or the assistant Secretary of State - if this is done by mail, allow 2 weeks for processing and return of the documents to them. 2. official transcripts (absolutely do not open the sealed enevelope because then they would be considered invalid) which will have to be translated into Spanish over here - by an official translator 3. birth certificate - 2 copies 4. passport - original and a copy 5. recent photos professional or studio photos 4 of side view and 4 front view, pictures should be square (4X4) matte finish not instant - ears uncovered - no makeup - no glasses - no jewelry - these pictures can also be taken here when the teacher arrives, the cost over here is approximately 100 pesos. 6. visa Salary and Benefits: The salary is 8,000 pesos per month, medical insurance will be provided. and the school will pay for the work visa.
