Title: Suggestions for Spanish for Law Enforcement
Body: A recent query on the FLTEACH listserv for suggestions for teaching Spanish for law enforcement received the following reply. ---- 1. See this link and examine the program offered in this link http://www.copquest.com/39-1000.htm 2. Visit the nearest United States District Court (Federal Court) in your area. Find the Interpreters' Office and request anything they might use in their courtrooms. I used to work as an interpreter in one of our Federal Courts in CA and I know the resources we have are innumerable. ALL FREE. Moubarek, M. Re: Spanish for law enforcement. Title: Cranium En Espanol
Body: Cranium is about to come out in a Spanish Latin American edition. If you have not played the original edition of this game, it is a board game that combines trivia knowledge, vocabulary skills, charades, sculpting, and pictionary—all in teams. It is a hit in our family, and I can see some potential for the Spanish version to be used in an upper level class occasionally. For more info, go to http://store.cranium.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=456 Carlson, B. Cranium en espanol. Foreign Language Teaching Forum listserv.
