Title | Recommended Songs for French Vocabulary and Grammar Practice |
Body | A recent thread on the FLTEACH listserv generated the following suggestions for songs to use in French class. ---- I use Francis Cabrel's "Je t'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerai" for imperfect, & future Francis Cabrel's "Octobre" for future We do Barenaked Ladies "If I had a million dollars" and translate it into French. other songs just for listening/fun: Pink Martini "Sympathique" (the kids LOVE this one and beg for it--it's very catchy) Teri Moise "Je serai là" (the girls love this one) Edith Piaf, "La vie en rose" DeeDee.
