The year 2019 has been declared by the United Nations as the International Year of Indigenous Languages. The Advocates for Indigenous California Language Survival has been honored to represent our little part of the world in this global effort to raise awareness to political leaders and encourage discussion on helping endangered indigenous languages to survive the onslaught of language domination. AICLS has been fighting this good fight for 30 years and more–and we hope to continue for years to come!

Title: Foreign Language Teaching Methods Modules
Body:

From http://coerll.utexas.edu/methods/

Our sister LRC, the Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning, has created a series of modules focusing on twelve different aspects of language teaching, each taught by a different expert instructor. The site contains video footage from an actual methods course held at the University of Texas at Austin. This flexible resource is designed to be used by foreign language teachers as a component of a classroom methods course or as a stand-alone course for independent learners.

Access the modules at http://coerll.utexas.edu/methods/
