Title: Partnership Brings Chinese Language Instruction to Delaware School for the Deaf

A new program at the Delaware School for the Deaf has begun teaching Chinese sign language as a second language to the students there with the speculation that learning a second signed language will benefit the students in the same way that learning a second spoken language would. The hope is that the program will gain traction and incorporate teaching Chinese Deaf culture to the students as well with the goal to arrange cultural exchange between the countries.
