Title: National Chinese Language and Culture Coalition

Organized by Chinese Language Association of Secondary-elementary Schools (CLASS), Chinese Schools Association in the United States (CSAUS), National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools (NCACLS), and facilitated by the National East Asian Languages Resource Center (NEALRC), the National Chinese Language and Culture Coalition (NCLCC) strives to improve the ability of young Americans to communicate in Chinese language and culture in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the United States and contribute to global harmony.
To realize the mission, the three founding organizations draw on their respective strengths to promote the study of Chinese language and culture by encouraging pipeline programs from K-12 to the highest levels of proficiency and expertise, developing high quality teacher training, offering more study abroad programs, and supporting projects using modern technology in research projects, materials development, curriculum design, and assessment.

The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai has developed a new app, “KANJI Memory Hint 1,” in hopes that having fun while learning kanji with associative drawings as memory hints and practicing them over and over again through games will lead to a sense of satisfaction.
