Pompeii: The Exhibition will open at the California Science Center on May 20, 2014. This dramatic 13,000-square-foot exhibit features over 150 precious artifacts on loan from the Naples National Archaeological Museum, an immersive CGI experience that recreates the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius, and full body casts of twisted human forms asphyxiated by extreme heat and forever frozen in time.
