Bowdoin College invites applications for a Japanese
Language Fellow for the 2003-04 academic year.
Successful candidates should possess native or
near-native proficiency in Japannese and English, an
MA degree in language pedagogy or related field, and
have teaching experience at the college level.
Responsibilities include class preparation, team
teaching of language classes in cooperation with
faculty members, grading homework and tests, and
other work in support of the Japanese language
program. The language fellow will receive room and
board, health insurance, and an annual stipend based
on his/her qualifications.

position is filled. Candidates on the short list may
be interviewed at the AAS in New York on March 29th.
