TitleRiver of Dreams River Rafting Trip
BodySeeking Native Artisans and Participants

River of Dreams is looking for participants to take part in a river-rafting trip on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. River of Dreams will facilitate the participation of 10-16 persons with disabilities who are Native American or represent other minority cultures. Their family members or friends will be encouraged to participate to ensure an inclusive experience. In addition, River of Dreams is actively seeking people from the Native American community to serve as storytellers, artisans, and historians to facilitate and encourage trip participants to share their stories, arts, and culture. Call for stipend information. This project is a
landmark effort highlighting individuals who are traditionally
underrepresented in recreational programs. Through GCCF funding, River of Dreams will focus on reaching Native Americans with disabilities.
Participants requiring financial assistance will be assessed for
scholarship need based on income.
