State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Susan Castillo, creates
Internship website. Latino students can become involved with various
functions and programs within the Department of Education through

OMSI is leading a comprehensive program aimed at increasing the
participation of Latinos in non-formal science education. Through this
program, Latinos in Ciencia, limited English literacy is no longer a
barrier to participating in exciting science activities, as educators
fluent in Spanish deliver engaging and accessible hands-on science
