| Body | In the upcoming weeks, we will be focusing on strategies and approaches to language learning that are especially helpful for learners of less commonly taught languages. With this goal in mind, we consider three critical questions to guide language study that are related to one’s specific goals and needs.

- Check out the Activity of the Week. This week, learners evaluate tools to support their language learning outside of the classroom.
- Consider the different ways that you can connect language learning in the classroom to learners’ individual goals and needs. This article connects this practice to learner motivation.
