Title: New Music from Calico Spanish
Body:
From the Ñandutí listserv:
Hi everyone, we just completed a series of new music releases via blog.calicospanish.com and I wanted to let you know about them, so you can use these songs if they fit within your early Spanish program.
First, we've released new versions of...
1) "Todo mi cuerpo" (parts of the body): https://calicospanish.com/body-song/
2) "Amiguito baila conmigo" (left, right, up, down, manos, dedos): https://calicospanish.com/amiguito-baila-conmigo/
Also, we've developed several all-new songs:
1) "Así me gusta a mí" - activities in 'yo' form + descriptive forms based on an old traditional tune: https://calicospanish.com/gusta-song/
2) "Pañuelito" - prepositions of location based on a country-style "Twinkle Twinkle": https://calicospanish.com/prepositions-of-location-song/
3) "Doña Ana no está aquí" - around the house, activities, gerunds, telling time based on a traditional Spanish ronda: https://calicospanish.com/house-activities/
4) "Las estaciones" - weather & seasons, based on another very old traditional tune: https://calicospanish.com/weather-seasons-children-spanish-song/
My favorites are Doña Ana because of the wide variety of targets it incorporates and the old traditional game the ronda incorporates (instructions in the blog post), and Las estaciones because it's been so hard to find a good weather & seasons song with good music, repetitive lyrics and a professional video. I hope you like them as much as I do!
