| Body | Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-47) introduced groundbreaking legislation on July 28, 2009, that will help encourage and expand international education and foreign language programs in our schools. The U.S. and the World Education Act would require the Deputy Assistant Secretary for International and Foreign Language Education to provide funding for educational programs that promote international enrichment for elementary and secondary school students and their teachers.
