TitleJob Opportunity for Native Tausug Speakers
Body
Second Language Testing Inc. in Rockville MD is currently seeking native Tausug speakers to participate in an item review project. The project involves listening to passages in Tausug, reading question in English, and then providing a written review in English of the test questions. Reviewers will be paid for each item reviewed.

It is helpful if reviewers have a strong educational background in language, literature, or political science. Experience as a teacher or test developer is also a plus. All applicants must be computer literate, including Excel, and have access to a high speed internet connection.

All potential reviewers must pass a language proficiency test. Reviewers must demonstrate ILR level 4 listening skills in Tausug and ILR level 3 skills in speaking and writing English.

After passing the screening test of language proficiency, reviewers are sent to California for three days of orientation in the ILR scale of language proficiency, the test specifications, and other information that is related to the review. Expenses are covered and reviewers are paid for their time. Subsequently, they begin reviewing items.

Interested and qualified candidates should email their resumes to Andrew Powers at apowers@2lti.com
