| Body | From http://flagsteacher.ning.com Once again, the Capital Foreign Language Project will be offering a local professional development opportunity: a 40-hour high-level immersion seminar for Spanish and French teachers in summer 2009. Both seminars will focus on aspects of language and culture that are relevant to teachers of the language and may also be applicable to their students. Because the focus is on professional development for the teachers, both seminars will be conducted in the language (Spanish or French) in order to provide an immersion opportunity for area teachers. Continuing Education Units from Sacramento State University will be available for an extra fee to those teachers who attend the entire 40 hours and complete the final project.
