NCELA Call for Papers: English language learners and literacy

The summer 2009 issue of AccELLerate! will focus on English language learners and literacy. We are soliciting contributions for this issue from teachers, administrators, researchers and others.

Submissions should not exceed 1000 words and should be suitable for a general audience of educators. We are seeking articles which offer practical strategies or insights, have a grounding in the research base, and are clearly and cogently written.

Submissions should be received by email by June 3, 2009. Please provide the name, title, and affiliation of all authors, as well as a contact telephone number. Submissions or questions should be directed to Keira Ballantyne (keira@gwu.edu) or Judith Wilde (jwilde@gwu.edu).
