Most recently, the AAIA’s Native Language Program has written and published more than 60 children’s books in the Dakotah language and created an entire school language curriculum for kindergarten through second grade. “We now have an agreement with one of the Ojibwe tribes and they are translating everything into Ojibwe. We have furnished materials to tribes across the country to look and see if that is something they want to do.
