The Department of Asian Languages and Literatures in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota seeks a pool of applicants to teach language courses in Japanese. Positions will be full-time appointments for the fall semester, with the possibility of continuation on a full-time or part-time basis for additional semesters. If filled, these positions are for day, evening, or a combination of day/evening courses, taught on a semester basis. Appointments would be: Fall Semester 2009 (08/31/09 - 01/13/10); and Spring Semester 2010 (01/14/10 - 05/30/10). Salary range is competitive based upon qualifications. Positions may be renewable annually depending on departmental need, funding and performance.
