Title | Maryland Releases Report on Preservation of Heritage Languages |
Body | Maryland has released what it believes to be the first task force sponsored by a state government on the subject of preserving heritage languages and instruction. The task force is aimed as a first step in better recognition and more effective development of heritage language communities. Maryland hopes that this report will increase the utilization of bilingual skills of residents in Maryland and the DC area, and serve as a guide for other states that may not have access to their heritage language communities. arrow To read the full contents of the report, download it from http://tinyurl.com/cuq6pj . |
