| Title | Call for Papers: Conference on Southeast Asian Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics |
| Body | From http://cotseal.net The Council of Teachers of Southeast Asian Languages (COTSEAL) and the Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison sponsor the 19th Annual Conference on Southeast Asian Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics on Friday, July 17th, and Saturday, July 18th, 2009 at the Pyle Convention Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison. The theme for the conference is "Writing and Reading: Planning, Teaching, and Assessing." Papers and presentations about language teaching, approaches, and materials development relevant to Southeast Asian languages and cultures are welcome. Each presentation should take no more than thirty minutes (20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for questions and discussion).
