Body | From: "Maki Watanabe" The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Southern California seeks a full-time lecturer in Japanese to begin fall 2004. Position is annually renewable. MA in Japanese language pedagogy, second language acquisition, or Japanese linguistics is required. Candidates must possess native or near-native fluency in both Japanese and English, and previous experience in Japanese language teaching at college level (from introductory to advanced) is required. Candidates must also be willing to train teaching assistants, and develop classroom materials. Experience with computer-based instruction and Japanese language instructional software is a plus.
