| Body | The Japan Foundation dispatches two experts of Japanese Garden, Shiro Nakane, landscape architect, and Makoto Suzuki, professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture, to the United States. They will give public lectures and demonstrations to introduce the concept, history, culture, and technique of Japanese Gardens overseas at the following venues: March 26: newly restored Japanese Garden in Japan American Cultural & Community Center in Los Angeles March 29: Seattle Japanese Garden March 31: Portland Japanese Garden http://www.japanesegarden.com/events/lectures Mr. Nakane and Professor Suzuki will also attend the international conference on Japanese Gardens outside Japan at California State University, Long Beach to give lectures to experts around the world.
