| Body | From http://www.tflta.org The 6th annual TFLTA workshop for elementary/middle foreign language teachers will be Saturday, March 7th, 2009, from 9:00-3:30, in Nashville on the Belmont University campus in the Massey Boardroom. The TFLTA Elementary/Middle workshop provides educators with: * an overview of foreign language methodology and programs * ideas for hands-on activities * classroom-proven activities that promote student success * presentations on current materials for foreign language instruction * ideas for maintaining/advocating a successful FL program * applications of FL activities through the use of computers * presentation of teacher made materials, and many other exciting activities * sharing and networking with other foreign language teachers * an introduction to assessment and research * technology * discuss current topics that impact all foreign language teachers and classrooms A workshop certificate of attendance will be available for those needing it. The Swap Shop will be immediately after lunch. Please bring 40 copies of a favorite idea to share with everyone. Please send in the REGISTRATION FORM by February 28, 2009.
