1st Annual TFLTA East Tennessee Regional Workshop for all languages
It will be Saturday, March 28th, 2009, from 9:00-3:00, in Knoxville on the University of Tennessee campus at the International House.

The TFLTA Regional Workshop provides educators with:
• an overview of the new Tennessee Diploma Project and implications for foreign language teaching
• the opportunity to tour the McClung Museum exhibit entitled “River of Gold” which details the Precolumbian treasures of Panama.

• classroom-proven activities that promote student success
• ideas for maintaining/advocating a successful FL program
• ideas for integrating technology into your lessons
• sharing and networking with other foreign language teachers
• an opportunity to discuss current topics that impact all foreign language teachers and classrooms

Session proposals will be accepted until February 18, 2009.

Please send in the registration form postmarked by March 7, 2009.
