| Body | From http://www.actfl.org The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) seeks an Editor for Foreign Language Annals, the association’s highly-respected, peer-reviewed quarterly scholarly journal. The desired start date for the Editor’s term is July 1, 2009, following publication of the Summer 2009 issue. The successful applicant will be a senior scholar in the field of language education with proven capabilities, high standards in research, writing and publication, and editorial experience, including familiarity with the electronic-text-to-printed-page process. This position offers a modest annual honorarium. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae and a letter documenting their qualifications and vision for the journal no later than February 1, 2009.
