ERIC/CLL subject areas included foreign language education, the teaching and learning of English as a second language, bilingual education, and all areas of linguistics. ERIC/CLL produced many quality publications, including digests, online resource guides, print and Web-based newsletters, and books in the Language in Education and Professional Practice series. Funding for ERIC/CLL ended December 31, 2003. For information about the new ERIC database, visit www.eric.ed.gov. CAL’s archive pages are designed to provide easy access to the variety of resources developed by ERIC/CLL, many of which are still relevant and useful today.
