Body | Here are some resources for Oktoberfest: -An official Oktoberfest website available in English or German with all sorts of facts and information about Oktoberfest is available at http://www.oktoberfest.de . -The AATG Jugendliteratur website has materials at http://kjl.aatg.org/level3.htm . Scroll down to Oktoberfest (the topics are in alphabetical order). -Bayerischer Rundfunk Online has a German-language website dedicated to Oktoberfest and containing video and audio material, available at http://www.br-online.de/oktoberfest . -The Hueber Verlag has downloadable worksheets with Internet activities at http://www.hueber.de/seite/downloads_landeskunde_daf (scroll down to Okterberfest). --- An AATG listserv user suggests the following activity: Last year I created a 'scavenger hunt' of sorts asking for different facts from both the official Oktoberfest website and the city of Munich's tourism page... at the end the students had to write a one page 'story' of their imaginary trip to Oktoberfest (including which events they were most excited about, etc.) Pedregosa, C.
