| Title | Call for Papers: SCENARIO Journal for Drama and Theatre in Foreign and Second Language Education |
| Body | The bilingual (German-English), refereed online journal SCENARIO, the Journal for Drama and Theatre in Foreign and Second Language Education, announces its 3rd issue with contributions by Marina Bertino, Frank Fischäss, Mark Lauer, Birgit Oelschläger, Steffi Retzlaff, Michael Sosulski, and with a text by Peter Jankowski, Defeat and After (Niederlage, mit Folgen). The new issue can be accessed via the journal's website: http://scenario.ucc.ie . Teachers, scholars, theatre professionals, drama educators, and drama education researchers involved with the teaching and learning of second and foreign languages are invited to submit papers for the fifth issue of SCENARIO. Contributors will shape and intensify the debate around the role of drama and theatre in the teaching and learning of second and foreign languages, literatures, and cultures. Deadline for submission: December 15, 2008. Both theoretical papers and reports on practical projects in line with the journal's profile are welcome. Please consult the journal's website as to submission guidelines. Papers may be in English or German and should not exceed 15-18 pages (5000-6000 words). They should be preceded by an abstract of no more than 200 words. Please include a short author biography and 4-6 keywords. Papers should be sent as email attachments to scenario@ucc.ie and as hardcopy to SCENARIO, Editorial Office, Department of German, National University of Ireland, University College Cork, CORK, Ireland. |
