| Body | From http://mj.carla.umn.edu/MWALLT Call for Proposals: MidWest Association for Language Learning Technology Fall Meeting "From Inspiration to Implementation: Integrating Innovative Technologies in Effective Language Teaching" The purpose of this conference will be to explore the range of innovative technologies currently available for language teaching, and importantly, how they can be integrated into classrooms and existing language lab resources effectively. Proposal submissions are encouraged in all areas of foreign language technology and lab management, but preference will be given to submissions that focus on how innovative technologies have been successfully integrated at member institutions. Some examples of presentation topics may include: * Examples of innovative technologies, who is using them, and how they are being used (including sample lesson plans and syllabi) * Student responses to new technologies and how these are incorporated into classrooms and language labs * How activities using technology are assessed for various language and cultural learning goals * Autonomous learning programs for language labs that foster the development of life-long learning * Numerous other topics focusing on technology and learning!
