Want to teach about soccer in your language classroom? Here are some resources available on the Internet:

Soccerlingua is available in and has materials for learning English, French, Portuguese, Swedish, and Turkish through games and activities. Some materials for Spanish, Italian, and German are available for purchase. Soccerlingua is available at http://www.soccerlingua.net/en/index.php .

I Speak Football is available in German, English, French, and Slovene. Visitors can download posters with soccer terms in different languages; listen to soccer radio jingles in different languages with statements from football stars on languages, language learning, multilingualism, and foreign languages as an asset; trilingual spots, each featuring on a football-related phrase in three different languages; and more.
