Current resources available include the following: -A variety of multimedia resources designed for classroom use in grades K-12. Includes PowerPoint, digital video, interviews, still photography, and the resources of the Internet. -Gakusei Seikatsu (Student Life in Japan) website This multimedia website was created by participants in AATJ’s Summer 2006 Language, Culture, and Technology Institute in Urawa, Japan. It has been revised and updated and contains a variety of materials (music, films, interviews, and documents) on both elementary and high-school education in Japan. -JLTN Quarterly Classroom Materials Supplements The Japanese Language Teachers Network (JLTN) Quarterly in the 1990s published classroom materials by high school teachers. These materials, focusing not only on language learning but on aspects of Japanese culture and society, were offered as an early version of "freeware," which could be easily copied and used by teachers in their own classes.
