| Title | AATG Summer Teachers Institute |
| Body | The Alle Lernen Deutsch Committee of the AATG announces its annual summer teachers institute at the University of Illinois at Chicago from July 9-13. The conference theme is Improving cultural diversity in the German classroom. Teachers will have an opportunity to culturally enhance their courses within the context of the Standards, expand their knowledge of minorities in Germany, increase the number of underrepresented students in German. Teachers will also be able to meet and learn from the experts on cultural diversity and minorities in Germany. This institute is sponsored by a generous StaDaF grant, the AATG, the Goethe Institute and the German Department and the College of Education at University of Illinois at Chicago.
