Instructor: Ann J. Sorrell Description: World Language Teachers, in vertical school district teams, will use backward planning to articulate curriculum so that students reach a high level of target language proficiency during their study of world language in their respective districts. ACTFL Guidelines, National Standards in Foreign Language for the 21st Century, Grade Expectations for Vermont’s Framework of Standards and Learning Opportunities and the Advanced Placement Language and Literature suggested curricula. will be used to help in backward planning. Grade Level: K- 12 Location: South Burlington HS – World Language Lab Room 111 at 550 Dorset Street, South Burlington, Vermont.
