TEA: China offers a large collection of resource materials for teachers in the Western United States. Over 500 items in our collection include:

* The complete collection of elementary and secondary curriculum units from SPICE (The Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education).
* A collection of folktales and children's stories.
* Elementary and secondary units developed by national and regional China projects.
* Up-to-date videos from educational documentaries to Chinese feature films.
* A collection of traditional and contemporary Chinese literature for secondary use.
* Resource books and CD-Roms on traditional and contemporary Chinese art.
* Resources on religion, history, China since 1949, art, and Chinese-Americans.
* Four Chinese artifact trunks.

Circulating print, audiovisual, and computer-based curriculum materials, as well as a professional library, are available on free loan to K-12 educators. Chinese artifact trunks rent for a nominal weekly fee. As part of the resource center services, project staff are available to consult with teachers and school districts on curriculum design and materials selection.
