There will be hands-on opportunities to work with spoken, written, and learner corpora. As well as receiving a theoretical outline, participants will do practical work with vocabulary and grammar frequency lists, concordances, keyword lists, collocations, etc.). Participants will also see a demonstration and be able to use the new CALPER GOLD software (Graphic Online Language Diagnostic) where you can build and analyze your own corpus.
