TitleResources for Teaching Clock Time
Body
Here are some online resources that may be useful when you are teaching students how to tell time in a second language:

-Clipart ETC: Clock Menu (http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/sitemap/clocks.htm ). There are approximately 2,200 clocks to choose from. For the first three styles, they have created minute-by-minute illustrations. A great source for creating time practice activities

-Time for Time: (http://www.time-for-time.com/swf/myclox.swf ). An online analog clock on which you can adjust the time shown. More time resources are available from this website’s homepage (http://www.time-for-time.com ).

-NLVM’s Analog and Digital Clocks (http://nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/frames_asid_316_g_1_t_4.html ). Similar to the above site, an online clock that is adjustable by hour, minute, and second.

-Analog-Digital Online Quiz (http://www.numbernut.com/basic/activities/dates_4bar_diganalog.shtml ). For students who have trouble reading an analog clock, this website features an online quiz in which students match the analog and digital clock times.

-A similar matching activity is available at http://www.arcytech.org/java/clock/clock.html .
