| Body | From http://www.carla.umn.edu/immersion/ACIE.html The American Council on Immersion Education (ACIE) is an organizational network for individuals interested in immersion education (teachers, administrators, teacher educators, researchers, parents). ACIE publishes a newsletter containing articles with an emphasis on research-based ideas and best practices, as well as school profiles, research reports and a calendar of upcoming events of interest to individuals involved in immersion education. The ACIE Newsletter is published three times during the academic year (Fall, Winter, & Spring) and is sent to all ACIE members. Selected articles find their way into the ACIE Article Archive, where they are available to the public. Categories of articles in the archive include The Bridge: From Research to Practice, Best Practices, Immersion ABC’s, Points for Parents, Research Reports, and Techno Tips.
