Here are some websites where literature in many languages is available: -Intratext (http://www.intratext.com ): Searchable by author, title, and language. Currently 40 languages available. -College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University (http://www.csbsju.edu/library/books/online.htm#othlang ): English resources are organized topically; some require a subscription while others are free. Other languages available include French, German, Greek, and Spanish. -Palo Alto College (http://www.accd.edu/pac/lrc/booksonweb.htm ): This is a relatively short list of books along with links to other online book collections. -University of Virginia (http://www.lib.virginia.edu/wess/etexts.html ): This page lists Internet sources for literary texts in the western European languages other than English. -Griffe.com (http://griffe.com/projects/worldlit/index.phtml ): Links to the world’s literature, organized by country. |
