TitleWebquest Resources
Body
A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. Here are some webquest resources suggested by FLTEACH users:

One person recommends Trackstar at http://trackstar.4teachers.org/trackstar . Trackstar allows teachers to enter annotated website addresses to create personalized “tracks” that students can use for Webquest. Tracks are archived and searchable so that teachers can also use other teachers’ tracks.

Another FLTEACH user did the following activity with her Spanish 5 class:

Given parameters of 2 weeks, a budget of $5,000, and strict instructions to stay within a Spanish-speaking country and NOT spend the entire time on the beach, they were to plan a trip, including ALL transportation, lodging, meals, activities, everything that a well-seasoned travel agent would do. Not only were they to present me with a detailed itinerary, but also an itemized "receipt", and they had to try to "sell" me their trip via a multi-media presentation. AND they needed to keep a 2-week journal of their own trip to these wonderful places.

Another recommended webquest site is WebQuest.org at http://www.webquest.org/index.php . Here are explanations about webquests, a guide to resources for creating webquests, and search tools for finding webquests.
